Anna Sabine MP Demands Answers as Problems Continue at Frome Leisure Centre
Anna Sabine MP is sounding the alarm over ongoing issues at Frome Leisure Centre, operated by Fusion, following persistent failures of equipment, poor communication, and concerns over direct debit payments and children’s swim lessons.
Despite earlier assurances from Fusion's senior management, following a meeting arranged by Anna with local councillors, problems have persisted. Constituents report that the pool’s boiler has failed again, and Fusion have gone silent on reimbursements and updates.
Parents are now worried about the impact on children’s swimming lessons and school groups, fearing disruption to their development and wellbeing.
Anna Sabine MP said:
“The ongoing issues at Fusion are unacceptable. Members and families rely on this community facility, and they deserve transparency, compensation, and practical solutions. Fusion must explain how they will update customers, reimburse direct debit payments, and mitigate any impact to children's swimming lessons moving forward.”
Anna has since contacted Fusion twice more, but has received no response. She is calling on the operator to engage immediately and resolve the growing concerns.
Anna welcomes hearing from constituents sharing their experiences by emailing her office, as the campaign for reliable, user-focused leisure services continues in Frome and East Somerset.
